You never realize how good someone something is until it’s gone. At least that’s how it is for me. My name is Unique Jefferson. Yeah I know unique, isn’t it? I am 17 years old and I made the biggest mistake of my life the day he said those three words every girl yearns for. Maybe Im jumping ahead of myself, I should tell you how this all started. It was a normal day and all was well when I met Jeph. He was a friend of my boy friend Derrick. He seemed like a normal kid, you minus the tattoos and piercing although I can’t say I didn’t find them the least bit hot, because I did. Derrick told me he wanted me to meet a new friend of his, but didn’t tell me much.

“Unique, you’ve gotta meet Jeph!!” Derrick whined “Oh I do?” “Yes, you do” he had a smirk on his face. “Why is that?” “I don’t know he’s my friend and you’re my girlfriend. Things will be easier this way.” “Fine” I sarcastically replied. “Yay!” He said. I pulled him in and kissed him softly. “We’re going to be late. Let’s go” We got out of Derrick’s car and walked into the school. Our school is basically an over crown building that looks like a mall with no stores. People are constantly walking into you and not really paying attention if they knocked you over then proceeded to walk on you. Yea it happened. Anyway me and Derrick were walking to my French class when Derrick tightened his grip on my wrist and pulled me real close to him. “What are you doing?” not that I cared. “Nothing,” mhmm “just wanted to be close to you.” Aw he’s so sweet. “Oh in that case,” I kissed him. “Derrick!” a voice said coming from behind us. We both turned to see a guy who I didn’t know. Could it be? “Jeph!” Yep. They quickly hugged then let go so that no one saw. “Jeph, this is my girlfriend Unique.” “Nice to meet you. I like your name. It’s very…” “Unique?” “Yea” “funny isn’t it?” couldn’t stop starring at his beautiful brown eyes. “The bell’s about to ring. I should get to class.” “Yea me too. I’ll see you later babe” Derrick gave me a kiss and ran off to class. “Aren’t you going too?” “No, this is my class.” “This is my class.” “Small world” he said with a smirk on his face. “I changed teachers. Mrs. Kenny was a bitch.” “You’ll like Madame Collins, she’s amazing!” “So I’ve heard. Shall we go in?” “Yea do you have a seat?” “No” “You can sit next to me. There’s an empty seat.” I smiled. “Awesome. We’re gonna be best buds. Right?” “Oh yes most definitely.” French was suddenly my favorite subject.
